Next Sequestration Hike Is Just Around The Corner

You’ve got just over a month left before sequestration ratchets your payment rates down again. Background: A 1 percent Medicare sequestration cut was reinstated as of April 1, HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor CGS says in a May 17 message to providers. The jump back to a full 2 percent sequestration cut is on track for July 1, CGS confirms.
