New Hospice Item Set Manual Includes Draft Instructions For 2021

Make sure you’re not late in prepping for Hospice Item Set changes scheduled for Jan. 1. On Oct. 8, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services posted the draft Hospice Item Set (HIS) Manual V3.0. “The HIS Manual V3.0 will be effective January 1, 2021,” CMS says. Once the Office of Management and Budget approves the manual, it will become final, the agency points out.
