Hospice deals continue to rack up. In Texas: Home health and hospice provider Traditions Health has acquired two more hospices for undisclosed terms, Faith Hospice of Oklahoma and Embrace Hospice of Georgia, the College Station-based chain says in a release. Both providers were part of Diversified Health Care and have a combined 10 locations. “The multi-state footprint strategically expands Traditions’ presence to Oklahoma and Georgia, allowing Traditions to provide … care to a broader base of patients across the country,” says Traditions, which is a portfolio company of private investment firm Dorilton Capital Advisors.
In California: Salt Lake City-based Bristol Hospice has bought the hospice business of the Riverside-based Visiting Nurses of Inland Counties out of bankruptcy for undisclosed terms, the VNA’s financial advisors and mergers and acquisitions advisors say. Bristol operates in eight states, including under the Optimal Hospice Care and Suncrest Hospice of Colorado names. Southern California-based HealthSure Management Services bought the VNA’s home health business, say Force 10 Partners and American Healthcare Capital in releases. The VNA was founded in 1931.
