Medicare Brings Model Election Statement Up To Date

Check out the newly updated Model Example of Hospice Election Statement. Its changes “reflect the current timeframe for supplying the election statement addendum,” notes the National Association for Home Care & Hospice. Medicare also has changed the representative signature section, NAHC adds. Start using the new form now, before medical reviewers start checking for it, NAHC advises. And stay tuned for a similar update to the Election Statement Addendum model form, the trade group says.
