More provisions from the newly enacted COVID-19 relief package that may affect home health and hospice providers include those that specify that State Medicaid Fraud Control Units can “investigate and prosecute cases of Medicaid patient abuse and neglect in any setting” including “a noninstitutional or other setting,” and that extend the funding for the “Money Follows The Person Rebalancing Demonstration” for another few years.
