Hospice care is getting the Hollywood treatment in a new movie. Suncoast, streaming on Hulu, recounts writer-director Laura Chinn’s fictionalized story of living in the early 2000s as a Florida teen with a severely ill older brother, according to press reports. The story takes place at the hospice facility also serving Terri Schiavo. Suncoast Hospice rep Renée Stoeckle hopes the movie will inspire end-of-life conversations in real life, she tells NPR.
