MAC Reaches Out To KY Agencies Ravaged By Tornadoes

Home health and hospices agencies affected by the devastating tornadoes in Kentucky on Dec. 10 are getting a helping hand from their HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor.

“To our providers and partners in Kentucky and neighboring states, CGS offers its sincerest condolences for the lives lost, and our thoughts are with all impacted by the recent storms,” says CGS CEO Steven B. Smith in a message to providers. “We understand this is a difficult time. All disaster-related changes and details will be posted on our website under the ‘News & Publications’ Tab, and our Provider Contact Center Customer Advocates are standing by to answer any questions you may have. Again, our thoughts are with you all.”

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services hadn’t posted any blanket waivers at press time at www.cms.gov/current-non-covid-emergencies.
