MAC Points Out 1 No-Pay RAP Silver Lining: Auto-Cancels No Longer Matter

With no-pay Requests for Anticipated Payment in effect, it is probably no surprise that Medicare has stopped keeping tabs on agencies’ RAP auto-cancel rates.

HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor Palmetto GBA “is discontinuing the Comparative Billing Report (CBR) in eServices that focused on the percentage of RAPs cancelled for home health agencies,” it says on its website. “RAPs will not auto cancel in CY 2021 and split-percentage payment for RAPs is lowered to zero percent.”
