Look For HOPE Analysis Next Spring

Hospice Outcomes & Patient Evaluation (HOPE) assessment tool testing appears to still be on track. Reminder: Back in September, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services issued the names of the 20 hospices that are alpha testing the HOPE tool this fall (see HCW by AAPC, Vol. XXIX, No. 36). In its Nov. 4 Open Door Forum for home health and hospice providers, CMS said it planned to share analysis from the testing “later in the spring.”
