IACS-To-EIDM Transition Rescheduled For Next Month After Earlier Delay
If you haven’t taken advantage of the IACS restoration to get your PS&R access straightened out, you’d better do it soon.
Reminder: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services originally planned to transition from the IACS to the new EIDM system early in the year. However, the transition hit some bumps and some hospices were locked out of the PS&R system during their cap calculation and reporting period (see Eli’s HCW, Vol. XXIV, No. 7). CMS re-enabled IACS registration in April.
Do this: Now CMS says it will make the switch from IACS to EIDM July 13. “Please ensure that your IACS account is active, current, and you’re able to log in. This will help ensure a smoother transition to EIDM,” CMS says on its website
