HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor Notes Claims Recoding Errors

If your claims seem to be recoding incorrectly, you’re not alone. “The CGS Provider Contact Center has seen an increase in calls from home health providers with concerns that their claims/ adjustments have recoded incorrectly,” the HHH Medicare Administrative Contractor says in an email to providers. “CGS is aware of this, and has provided examples to the Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS) maintainer to research.”
