HHA PEPPER Report Retrievals Lag Significantly Behind Hospice PEPPER Downloads
With auditors, surveyors, and medical reviewers on high alert, you don’t want to stick out like a sore thumb for scrutiny. Alabama and Tennessee have the highest level of Home Health Agency PEPPER report retrieval at 83 percent and 82 percent, respectively, PEPPER contractor TMF Health Quality Institute says on its website. The latest reports were issued in July. On the hospice side, there are much higher percentages of download, with 11 states in the 80s, three states in the 90s, and one state — Delaware — with a 100 percent retrieval rate, according to TMF.
