HH PEPPER Benchmarking Reports Due Next Month

The indefinite postponement of PEPPER benchmarking reports is now definite. The release of the Q4CY19 PEPPER for home health agencies (HHAs) … has been delayed until Aug. 12, 2020,” the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services says in a message to providers. CMS had postponed PEPPER reports back in March “to free up the attention of providers as they respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic,” the agency says (see Eli’s HCW, Vol. XXIX, No. 11). Now: The PEPPER Team will notify providers when the PEPPERs are available, CMS says.
