Health System Merger Leads To HHA Closure

One Troy, N.Y. HHA is closing its doors as a result of a health system merger. Seton Health's closure of the agency is part of its pending merger with St. Peter's Health Care Services and Northeast Health, reports The Business Review. The new merged system will have its own HHA, The Eddy Visiting Nurses Association, the newspaper says. Seton's agency couldn't be merged directly into the VNA, which is a separate corporation, a spokesperson told the paper.
