Don’t forget to submit your comments on the biggest changes to the home health Condi-tions of Participation in decades. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services published the proposed COPs last month, and they include changes in the areas of patient rights, care planning, quality, and infection prevention (see Eli’s HCW, Vol. XXIII, No. 35).
You can submit comments by Dec. 8; go to www.regulations.gov and search for “CMS-2014-0132-0001.” Twenty-four comments have been submitted so far.
