: Federal Register Issues Revised Wage Index Tables For Hospice Final Rule

If you thought you were seeing double when you looked at the Federal Register this month, there's a good reason -- the publication issued an incorrect version of the hospice wage index in the Aug. 6 issue. It then reissued the correct version on Aug. 13. Difference: The only difference between the two rules are the wage index tables, explained CMS' Randy Throndset in the home health Open Door Forum on Sept. 9. Because the revision didn't change any substance of the rule, the comment period will still close at 5 p.m. on Sept. 28, 2009.
