Enhabit Resolves To Stay The Course

Dallas-based Enhabit Inc. is going to remain its own company after all. “The best way to enhance shareholder value at this time is to continue to operate as a stand-alone business,” Board Chair Leo Higdo says in a release about the company’s strategic review results. Enhabit spun off from Birmingham, Ala.-based Encompass Health, which was formerly known as HealthSouth, in 2022 and announced the strategic review last summer.
