One Hawaii hospice is getting the sort of press no provider wants. Six patients and “several” employees at St. Francis Hospice in Nuuanu tested positive for COVID-19, reports TV station KHON2. The COVID-positive employees are isolating at home, the patients are being retested, and the facility is undergoing “a thorough deep cleaning,” the TV station says. St. Francis is also working on contact tracing to identify others who may have been exposed, KHON2 adds.
