Companies Link Over Hospice VBID

VNS Health and Compassus will manage the Hospice Benefit Component for several thousand Medicare Advantage health plan members under the Value-Based Insurance Design model across multiple states, the providers say in a release. “The VBID hospice carve-in helps both health plans and health care providers simplify and ease transitions between levels of care for members with life-limiting illnesses,” VNS Health CEO Dan Savitt says in the release.
