CMS: Stay Tuned For Pharmacy Accreditation Info

• You can get more information about Medicare pharmacy accreditation in a Sept. 28 Special Open Door Forum call on the topic. Pharmacies have been confused because the health care reform law passed in March exempted them from the DME accreditation requirements that take effect Jan. 1. But only some pharmacies will be exempted from the accreditation requirement. Watch for: Later this month CMS will post the call-in information for the forum, which is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m.
