Check Out Latest CDC Offering For COVID Prep

You can help your patients prepare for possible COVID cases with a new government resource.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued its COVID-19 Personal Action Plan. The plan “contains tools, information, and action steps to share with your family, colleagues, and patients,” says the National Association for Home Care & Hospice in its member newsletter. “NAHC believes the Personal Action Plan will be a helpful resource for having conversations about whether they would benefit from COVID-19 treatments, what to do if they test positive, and where to access testing and treatments if not directly available through their home care provider.”

The tool is at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/downloads/needs-extra-precautions/fs_covid_plan_final.pdf.
