Check For 2024 HHQRP Rate Ding

You’ve got just a couple of short weeks to fight a noncompliance determination for home health quality reporting program standards, if you’ve gotten one. Medicare Administrative Contractors should have placed noncompliance letters for 2022 into Home Health Agencies My Reports folders in iQIES around Oct. 6, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services says in a message to providers. Noncompliance in 2022 will reduce your reimbursement rates in 2024 by 2 percent. HHAs that want to request a reconsideration must submit the request by Nov. 13. Instructions are at www.cms.gov/medicare/quality/home-health/home-health-quality-reporting-reconsideration-and-exception-extension.
