Need a home health and/or hospice payment primer for new hires, referral sources, and the like? The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission may be of service.

MedPAC now offers a “Payment Basics” series, which are “brief overviews of how Medicare’s payment systems function,” the advisory body to Congress says. “The Commission produces Payment Basics as a resource for policymakers and others to better understand how Medicare pays for health care services,” it adds.
