Biden: Home Health Saves Money

President Biden has more praise for home care, this time on the Medicaid side. “Millions of seniors and people with disabilities … depend on Medicaid to help pay for their home care, including home health aides,” President Biden said in a Feb. 28 speech at the Kempsville Recreation Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. “And, by the way, it saves the government money if they’re home and not in a nursing home,” Biden pointed out. Biden made the remarks in his speech criticizing proposed Medicaid cuts from Republicans.
