Authorities Continue To Focus On Medicaid Fraud — This Time In FL

Authorities have arrested a Florida Medicaid home and community-based services agency owner for an alleged $200,000 fraud scheme, according to a release from state Attorney General Ashley Moody.

Lorna Dukes, owner and operator of 3D Living & Home Services Inc. in Coral Springs, submitted false claims for services not rendered to Medicaid recipients, the AG says. A Medicaid Fraud Control Unit investigation found that 3D did not provide HCBS as frequently as billing indicated and provided no service to a number of the recipients billed from 2017 to 2019.

“We will continue to pursue allegations of Medicaid Fraud to stop illegal activity and hold fraudsters responsible for their criminal actions,” Moody says.
