Another Claims System Fix On Deck For March

If you have claims spanning from 2009 to 2010 that are editing incorrectly for timeliness with reason code 39011, you should see relief soon. A fix for the problem is scheduled for March 7, notes HHH MAC Palmetto GBA on its website. And relief is already on the way for the problem where many HHA claims were suspending to status location SB9099. "Claims that have been suspending in SB9099 are now processing," the MAC says. "Palmetto GBA continues to monitor the progress of these claims as they are moving through the system." But if those claims aren't moving fast enough, you may be eligible for an accelerated payment, Palmetto notes. Such payments apply "to claims that have been submitted, but payment has not been made due to a system malfunction," the HHH MAC cautions.
