OSHA Readies Workplace Safety Rule For Healthcare, Including HH

If you have thoughts on how the Occupational Safety and Health Administration should regulate workplace safety issues in home health, you may be interested in a new work group.

“OSHA is in the early stages of developing a potential standard, Prevention of Workplace Violence in Healthcare and Social Assistance,” OSHA says in a post on its website. “OSHA plans to convene a Small Business Advocacy Review (SBAR) Panel in early 2023 and is looking for representatives from small businesses” — including home health ones — “to serve as small entity representatives (SERs),” it says.
