Will One MAC's New Home Health Audit Topic Land You On Review?

One MAC has added “Home Health Bene Sharing” to its list of active medical review topics for home health providers. HHH Medicare Administrative Contract Palmetto GBA also continues to list “Home Health Services for Eligibility and Medical Necessity” as a review topic for home health agencies. For hospices, Palmetto continues to target “Non-Cancer Diseases of the Nervous System” and “Inpatient Hospice greater than 72 hours,” according to the list updated Aug. 21.
