Watch For This Claims System Fix In September

Home health agencies should have one less claims glitch to worry about soon. The problem: Canceled claims in Status/ Location PB9996 are being processed, but are not showing up on the remittance advice (RA) because FISS is not finalizing the claim, HHH MAC Palmetto GBA reports on its website. The result: "Claims that are in PB9996 are unable to be worked by providers," Palmetto notes. The solution: The FISS contractor will im-plement a system fix in September, Palmetto says.
