Watch For New VA Pay By April 1

You may know you don’t have to switch payment methodologies — and possibly receive lower rates — yet if you serve VA patients but haven’t negotiated a contract with the Veterans Ad-ministration. But you don’t have that much longer until you will have to adjust to a new system.
The VA sets April 1 as its new deadline for making the switchover, according to a final rule it published in the Nov. 15 Federal Register.
