W. Va HHA Owner Pleads Guilty To Medicaid Fraud

A West Virginia HHA owner has pled guilty to Medicaid fraud charges. Shida Jamie of Golden Heart In Home Care in St. Albans admitted altering and falsifying company records, according to press reports. Golden Heart provided home care under a contract with Putnam Aging Inc. Ja-mie faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine when sentenced in January.
