U.S. Attorney Drops Kickback Charge In TN

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Nashville has dropped its temporary restraining order against Friendship Home Health, reports the Nashville Business Journal.Back in May, the U.S. Attorney accused Friendship of orchestrating a kickback scheme with Mississippi-based On-Call Staffing, to whom it leases its private nursing service, the Journal says. The scheme allegedly paid an additional $20,000 per month to On-Call.The government voluntarily dismissed its complaint, the newspaper says.
