Updated Hospice PEPPER Reports Out Soon
Get ready for an update to the free benchmarks Medicare provides you through the PEPPER program. The next PEPPER report for hospices is due for release in mid-April, PEPPER contractor TMF Health Quality Institute says on the PEPPER website. Hospices can register for an April 26 webinar reviewing the latest PEPPER report. Arecording of the webinar will be available on the website by May 10, TMF says. Register online at https://pepperresources.org/Training-Resources/Hospices. While the data for the report will be updated through the fourth quarter of 2017, the format of the report will stay the same as last year with no new target areas added. The newest of the 11 target areas in the report is "Long General Inpatient Care Stays," which was added for the first time to last year's report.
