Training Webinars Will Be Available Online

Did you miss Medicare's April training sessions on the new hospice quality reporting requirement? You'll get another shot at tuning in -- but probably not right away. CMS will post the webinars and the questions-and-answer sessions that followed on the website at www.cms.gov/Medicare/Quality-Initiatives-Patient-Assessment-Instruments/Hospice-Quality-Reporting/Spotlight.html, a CMS official tells Eli. But there's no deadline for those postings. The webinars, which took place April 11 and April 19, covered both quality measures required for data collection in 2012 -- the structural QAPI measure and the measure on National Quality Forum measure #209 (comfortable dying).
