Trade Groups Merge

The National Association of Indepen-dent Medical Equipment Suppliers will merge with the American Association for Homecare this month, NAIMES says in a release. The 200-member, six-year-old organization will bring about 140 new companies to AAHomecare.
Under the merger, two NAIMES leaders will join the AAHomecare board, and Wayne Stan-field, President of NAIMES, will become Vice President of Provider Relations at AAHomecare. "My goal is to use my experience to create a stronger AAHomecare that speaks for the DME industry as a whole, both small and large," Stanfield says in the release.
