You can learn more about the new Medicare Cost Report e-Filing (MCReF) system by listening to an audio recording or reading a transcript of a May 1 webcast about the topic. Download them at www.cms.gov/Outreach-and-Education/Outreach/NPC/National-Provider-Calls-and-Events-Items/2018-05-01-Cost-Reporting.html. Starting July 2, providers choosing electronic submission of cost reports must use MCReF to do so, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services notes in a description of the webcast.
