You can satisfy your curiosity about who in your neighborhood is borrowing CARES Act Provider Relief Funds with a new public resource. A list at https://data.cdc.gov/Administrative/HHS-Provider-Relief-Fund/kh8y-3es6/data details “providers that received a payment from ... the Provider Relief Fund and who have attested payments and agreed to the Terms and Conditions,” as well as specifics such as payment amount. At press time, the list containing more than 159,000 providers was updated through May 6.
