Show-Me State Provider Settles Fraud Charges For $600K

Delmar Gardens Private Services in Chesterfield, Mo. has settled Medicaid fraud charges for nearly $600,000, reports Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster in a release. The AG's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit alleges that DGPS submitted claims to Medicaid for services provided by in-home service workers to immediate family members, which are ineligible. DGPS also submitted claims for services to patients who were in the hospital or nursing home at the time, prosecutors say.
