Senior Living Co. Buys FL's Largest Home Care Provider

Senior living company Emeritus Corp. plans to purchase Florida-based Nurse on Call, it says in a release. Nurse on Call is Florida's largest Medicare-certified home care provider, says Seattle-based Emeritus, which is publicly traded.Emeritus will pay $102 million in cash for 91 percent of the equity of NOC's parent company, the company says. The remaining equity will be owned by members of NOC's management team.
