Say Goodbye To Drug Education Measure, Hello To Oral Meds Improvement Measure

Learn the details of star rating changes in upcoming call. Now that the flu measure has finally been dropped, Medicare has more plans for changing your quality measures. Find out the details in a June 27 Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services call about Home Health Quality of Patient Care star ratings. The call will discuss removal of the Drug Education on All Medications Provided to Patient/Caregiver during All Episodes of Care measure, as well as the addition of the Improvement in Oral Medications measure, CMS says. Register for the call, in which “CMS presents the rationale, proposed timing, and impact of these changes,” at https://blh.ier.intercall.com.
