RAC Adds One More Home Care Review Topic

One of the Recovery Audit Contractors has secured CMS approval of another home carerelated topic. Region A RAC DCS Healthcare isapproved for "DMEPOS while Inpatient (B4034- B999; E0100-E9999; K0001-K0899)" in 11 states and the District of Columbia, DCS says on its website. The topic joins 19 other DME topics on DCS's "Issues under review" list, ranging from wheelchair bundling to multiple DME rentals within a month.
