Patient Recruiter Convicted In Detroit

A Detroit federal jury has convicted a patient recruiter of fraud in a $1.3 million scheme. At trial, the evidence showed that Dominic Trumbo of Trumbo Consulting Agency “solicited and received kickbacks in exchange for referring Medicare beneficiaries to serve as patients at multiple home health agencies,” the Department of Justice says in a release. Trumbo will face sentencing Dec. 3, according to the DOJ.
