Official Data Specs For OASIS-D1 Still Not Out
The OASIS-D1 tool is out, but the data specifications have yet to be released. Keep an eye out for the official release at www.cms.gov/Medicare/Quality-Initiatives-Patient-Assessment-Instruments/ OASIS/DataSpecifications.html, a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services official tells the National Association for Home Care & Hospice. But meanwhile, home health agencies can check out the OASIS-D to OASIS-D1 specification changes in an errata document at www.cms.gov/Medicare/Quality-Initiatives-Patient-Assessment- Instruments/OASIS/Downloads/Errata-v2-30-1-for-OASIS-D-Data-Submission-Specs-v2-30-0.pdf. The revised tool is at www.cms.gov/medicare/quality-initiatives-patient-assessment-instruments/homehealthqualityinits/oasis-data-sets.html.
