Obama Administration Drops Long-Term Care Insurance Initiative

Don't count on the CLASS Act to increase your home care census any time soon. In a letter to Congress, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said the Obama administration is dropping the long-term care insurance initiative. "Despite our best analytical efforts, I do not see a viable path forward for CLASS implementation at this time," Sebelius says in the letter.
