Two organizations supporting nonprofit hospices and palliative care providers have joined forces. Teleios Collaborative Network in North Carolina and National Hospice Cooperative in Ohio have formed a joint venture to provide nonprofits with benefits ranging from economies of scale to operational best practices, they say in a release. The first member of the joint venture, Community Healthcare of Texas, says “both entities are bringing needed resources and talents, that we could not afford independently. I believe these types of partnerships will allow many other non-profit hospices to survive and thrive long into the future.” NHC is a direct affiliate of Ohio’s Hospice, one of the nation’s first state nonprofit networks for hospices.
