New Jersey authorities have charged the owner of a Cranford-based home health agency with Medicaid fraud. Investigators from the state Office of the Fraud Insurance Prosecutor searched the home and business of Home Care Solutions owner Laurie Provost, as well as her Porsche, Acting Attorney General John Hoffman says in a release.
State officials allege Provost submitted multiple requests for payment for home health aide services that were not provided, including bills for services to Medicaid beneficiaries while they were hospitalized or on vacation, Hoffman says.
