If you want your voice to be heard on important industry issues, you’ll have yet another survey that you can participate in. The 2013 State of the Home Care Industry Study’s National Survey is getting ready to launch, and NAHC is urging industry members to get involved.
"We are at a crossroads in the industry as health care reform initiatives will both challenge and open opportunities for home care and hospice," NAHC President Val J. Halamandaris said in a Feb. 22 statement. "This study will help to identify the practices of the strongest agencies both from a quality and financial perspective, exactly what agency leaders are seeking."
The study will focus on technology use, health care reform initiatives and operational practices, NAHC states. After the study is completed, NAHC will release three reports and informational webinars based on the information gathered.
If you’re interested in participating in the study, your HHA must: a) be Medicare certified; b) have Medicare revenues of $500,000 or higher; AND c) have Home Health Compare scores for two or more reporting periods.
