National Chain Mulls Possible Sale

Don't be surprised to see publicly traded company LHC Group Inc. change hands. The national chain's executives are "engaged in a process to review strategic alternatives," Baton Rouge, La.-based LHC says in a release. The current reimbursement and enforcement climate for HHAs is taking its toll. LHC's news follows on the heels of fellow publicly traded chain Gentiva Health Services Inc. announcing that it had shed 53 locations.
