Michigan HHA, Senior Living Company Partner
Mary Free Bed at Home in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has partnered with West Michigan senior living company Sunset Retirement Communities and Services to provide home care services to Sunset’s members and residents, taking over from Sunset’s home care unit, the companies say in a release. Mary Free Bed serves 13 counties in the state. “For our skilled home services to continue to be successful in the future, we need to be part of a larger organization that can bring increased expertise and resources to those we serve,” says Sunset CEO Steve Zuiderveen. Sunset already partners with Emmanuel Hospice in Grand Rapids to furnish hospice services. Emmanuel is a collaboration between Sunset and three other senior living companies.
