Meet This New Contractor For Home Health Cost Report Appeals Support

There’s another contractor switch related to home care and hospice cost reports.
CMS has awarded the Appeals Support Contract to Federal Specialized Services. “FSS will assume full responsibility of the appeals support function currently handled by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association on Sept. 30, 2015,” Palmetto GBA says on its website. “Beginning on September 15, 2015, all Provider Reimbursement Review Board (PRRB) Appeals-related correspondence and Intermediary (MAC) Appeals-related correspondencenormally sent to the BCBSA should be sent to FSS.”
